fruitcake. From Chocloate Mud Cake to Carrot Cake, personal
taste prevails over tradition.
Cake decorators
from across the country agree that the chocolate mud
cake is the undisputed favourite wedding cake flavour.
Over the last ten years , the demand for the traditional
fruitcake has diminished as increasing numbers of brides
opt to serve their wedding cake as dessert. Brides are
demanding tasty alternatives to fruit cake, and cake
decorators have responded by expanding their range of
cake flavours.
Generally, there
are six favourite wedding cake flavours. Our flavours
include but are not limited to, Moist Fruit Cake, Chocolate
Mud Cake, White Chocolate Mud Cake, Chocolate Liqueur
Cake (Kahlua), Carrot Cake, Butter Cake, Caramel Butter
Cake, Chocolate Carrot Cake and more.
Most Brides order
Chocolate Mud Cake, but have their top tier made of
fruitcake. As fruitcake is made from fruit soaked in
alcohol, it can be preserved until the first wedding
anniversary or birth of the first child. Mud cake can
also be frozen then thawed on your first Anniversary.
